# Hirscher 11 — Apollonia Hirscher 11, Brașov

- **Protected monument** — part of the Brașov citadel ensemble, LMI code BV-II-a-A-11295.
- **Fabric** — medieval foundations in the cellar; rebuilt from the ground up in the 18th
  century; the tall Baroque roof taken down around 1890 has since been rebuilt in its
  original form, which is what created the flats under it.
- **Shape** — a corner building with two frontages: four window axes onto the square,
  fifteen along Strada Alecu Russo, and a vaulted carriage gate through to a courtyard.
- **What the house lets** — shop and showroom at street level, office and studio on the
  upper floor and in the rear wing, apartments, and brick-vaulted cellar storage.
